Here are the games that Hex Games has submitted to run this year.
QAGS: Life is Random
Take a chance! Brave the unknown! At the beginning of this game, the GM will use the QAGS Book of Dumb Tables to randomly determine the game’s concept, PC group, villains, plot, and theme. Players will be able to create their own characters, though they will randomly roll their characters’ names. The GM will then provide a full, satisfying adventure, with twists, turns, and (randomly determined) surprise guest stars. No one knows what this game will be about, but it’s sure to be fun.

Panels:
Comedy & Humor in RPGs
Some folks think that if a game is "funny" it's not a "real" role-playing game & that a "serious" game shouldn't have any humor. Yet comedy films make megabucks every year, & even the most serious movie or novel has at least a few moments of humor. Let the jokesters at Hex Games tell you how to add humor to your RPG without breaking the mood, & how to run a full out wackyfest of a campaign without crossing the line into stupid territory.
RPG Action!
Most role-playing games are about exciting things: killing monsters, overthrowing evil overlords, maybe even donning spandex and fighting a cosmic menace. Despite the action-packed subject matter, though, many games bog down and get boring. Sure, your character is involved in a life-or-death battle with Gungadungadin The Great, but it’s hard to be really excited while you’re doing long division to figure out how much damage you just took. In this panel, the Hex staff will discuss some tips and tricks for creating an exciting, action-packed game.
